i hate that poc always have to tell white ppl not to add anything stupid to our posts when we talk about racism. like, it should be obvious. you should not have to be told to listen without adding your useless two cents, because you should know that it is not your place to talk over us on issues that you do not understand, have not experienced, and will never experience.
how hard is it to grasp that you should just keep quiet and internalize the things we tell you instead of having to make a whole production out of it either onto the post itself or in the tags (which, again, is still adding something stupid because nobody needs to know your thoughts on racism. as a white person your words mean less than nothing. end of story.)
this ALSO includes whites who go “i dont do this (im one of the good ones)”, “im white tag” (literally wtf), “im white and i agree” or whatever else u self-congratulatory performative weirdos like to say. youre once again centering yourself, your own whiteness, your own voice, and showing how you care more about how good you look as a ~white ally~ rather than listening to the poc who are talking.
i’ve barely ever drank almond milk but the term soothes me a lot. i think i like the way the words feel better than i like the actual drink. also i know moon milk does not exist, but it sounds equally good. also blender bottle. glacier. groundswell. ashplant. cylinder. and the phrase swisher sweet is pure poetry. i’m not synesthetic and sort of disappointed at this, but there are many words i’d like to eat or else hold in my mouth like marbles.
